The CWSP certification is a professional level wireless LAN certification for the CWNP Program. The CWSP certification will advance your career by ensuring you have the skills to successfully secure enterprise Wi-Fi networks from hackers, no matter which brand of Wi-Fi gear your organization deploys.
The Certification Magazine annual salary survey results for CWSP show a consistent annual increase in the average salary for CWSPs since 2005.

The CWSP exam (PW0-200) has been updated to PW0-204 in January of 2010. PW0-200 was retired as of April 30, 2010.

Certification track

The CWSP certification is awarded to candidates who pass the CWSP exam and who also hold the CWNA certification. The CWNA certification is a prerequisite to earning the CWSP certification; however, the CWNA and CWSP exams may be taken in any order though it is recommended that you take the CWNA exam first.[1]

CWSP requirements

This certification covers a wide range of security areas. These include detecting attacks, wireless analysis, policy, monitoring and solutions.[2]

Recertification

The CWSP certification is valid for three years.[3] The certification may be renewed by retaking Official CWNP Site
